I'm a Service Advisor at Serra Traverse City, though I'm still learning. Originally from Hatteras, North Carolina, I've been in the industry for about three years now. I'm always upbeat, ready to listen to customer concerns, and I try to treat everyone with empathy and respect. My goal is to make sure every customer leaves with a smile and feels like a VIP. If you're not having fun at work, then it's just work, and that gets old. Outside of work, I love being outdoors. I'm a big fan of woodworking, fishing, hunting, and pretty much anything else that lets me enjoy nature. I also love to talk about guns, hunting, fishing, traveling, camping, and home improvement projects. I went to Anchor Bay High School and I enjoy exploring nature all over the USA. I have two kids and four grandkids.

Gene was helpful, but the paperwork I was provided was lacking pricing for the parts for what they said was needed and had to call and ask for it, then I was left a voicemail that said it “the total is over $1000.” No breakdown or anything. Then when I pulled my front wheels off to see the brake pads it was obvious the caliper slide pins were frozen and the pads weren’t worn on the outboard only the inboard. They suggested new rotors when mine were still in specs and still would be in specs if they were resurfaced. I’m not sure I can trust the mechanics to change the transmission and rear differential fluids but I don’t have much choice. Having the brakes done elsewhere since the mechanic completely missed how obviously bad the uneven wear was on the front brake pads. If they would have noticed and included the caliper slide pins and boot kit in the suggested service report I would have let them do the work.

This time was better than previous experiences and that is the reason for not a higher rating
