My motto is: “Customer service is everything!” I take pride in being an honest person who can get along with just about anyone. Proud of the high customer service marks I have received throughout my 30+ year career in the auto industry. I started working for my father, and have continued to thrive in this business. I attended Hart High School and the Masters College. Outside of the dealership, I love to spend time with my wife, Patti, and my 3 amazing children. My hobbies and interests include basketball, writing music, traveling, and watching sports – go Lakers!

I've been taking my 2020 VW Tiguan to John & the Serra team for 6 years now. My suv is at 140k miles now and running great. They let me know what maintenance I should anticipate on my next visit so I can plan ahead. I recommend 100%!

Got my appointment set up and changed my keyfob battery. Rolled in for the 30K maintenance check ... went quick and I was quite content to hang out in the customer lounge. We invested in a new car to ensure G'ma could get around Muchigan during the winter to see the g'kids. Needless to say, maintenance is critical and John was very supportive to that end.

While spending five days in Cincinnati (over the weekend), my “check engine light” came on and wasn’t blinking. I headed back to Traverse City on Monday after first checking with John Fyfe that my Tiguan was safe to drive. He managed to work the car into VW service on Tuesday, the day after I returned, and the job was completed within a couple of hours. I have come to trust John’s judgement and his ability to schedule necessary service in a timely manor. Both he and his team have consistently provided us with timely, professional and friendly service. And when you look around, you realize that that’s the way he treats everyone. Thank you, John
