I'm a Service Advisor with a passion for cars and helping people, working at Serra Traverse City. Originally from South Boardman, I've been in the automotive industry for a while. My wife, Tayler, and my three-year-old daughter, Ember, are my world. I’m proud of my technical knowledge and my ability to connect with customers. I'm ASE Master Certified, with additional certifications including the BMW STEP program, EPA 609, DOT inspector, and State certified auto body technician, along with my Stellantis Expert in all categories and GM Mark of Excellence awards. My education includes Forest Area High School and Universal Technical Institute. I also served as National Technical Honor Society president and have received multiple student of the course awards. I've lived in Phoenix, Arizona, and Chicago, Illinois for a few years, and I’ve even visited Costa Rica. When I'm not at work, I enjoy professional disc golf, engine building, cards, and video games. This was my second trip to Serra for the same problem. Shawn was pleasant and knowlegable and I have no complaints about him. However, the part that had to be ordered and thus necessitated a second trip to the dealership ( about an hours drive for me) proved to be defective and so after sitting for 3 hours, I have had to schedule a third trip to Subaru to (hopefully) get my problem resolved.

Shawn was great! I had problems after my rotars and pads were replaced by the dealership a few days prior. I was afraid to drive the car for fear I would damage something. Shawn got me in right away and even sent a flatbed tow truck out to pickup the car and, after fixing the brakes, the dealership returned the car to me. It is SO nice to have my smooth, quiet ride back!
